This is a perfect example of a purebred, smooth coated Mi-Ki to the left. Other clubs produce the smooth coated Mi-Ki, but they refuse to accept the coat type. The purebred Mi-Ki has the Papillon and the Japanese Chin, both of who strongly resemble the smooth coated Mi-Ki's coat. The smooth coat distinctive feature is no mustache or beard (see long coats below for comparison).
